Thursday's blog has far to go
- Jodie Foster is gay? Who knew? Aside from, well, everyone in the Western world, I mean.
- Tara Reid has been forced to lower her fee for promotional appearances from $26,000 to $3,000. Frankly, I think you're getting ripped off if you pay Tara Reid to show up at all.
- Vivica A. Fox: The "A" is for "Alcohol."
- Add to your list of people who are not smarter than a fifth grader: The View's Sherri Shepherd, who believes that Christianity predates ancient Greece. Sherri must have been sick the week they covered the Old Testament in Sunday school.
- A busload of tourists headed for a taping of The Dr. Phil Show crashed into a Presbyterian church building in Hollywood. Trust me, folks: You're better off.
- Hilary Swank is starring in a new movie about vampires. Think of the money the prop department will save on false fangs.
- When I read the headline, "New American Idol Sex Tape Scandal," I had this terrifying vision that the gossipmongers had unearthed footage of some hot Sanjaya-on-Seacrest action. Thank heaven it was just some chick no one remembers anyway.
- Speaking of sex tapes, Britney Spears is threatening to publicize video of Paris Hilton making out with another girl at her 26th birthday party. I can't write a joke that's funnier than that already is.

3 insisted on sticking two cents in:
Um, I'm that one guy in the western world that didn't know Jodie Foster was gay -- not that it matters.
Vivica A. Fox -- so, this is her SECOND time being charged with a DUI this year, is that right? I hate seeing the spiral she's been going through the last few years.
Oh, I forgot to mention Sherri Shepard. She's the one who also said she didn't know if the Earth was flat or round. Clearly, if it weren't for the presence of Elizabeth Hasselbeck on the View, Shepard would be the stupidest member of the panel. Actually, its getting close to a tie.
As for One More Day, it seems that Quesada didn't learn the lessons of the Clone Saga: Give the fans what they want, not what you want.
Damon: As you say, not that it matters, but Jodie Foster's sexual orientation has been an open secret for at least 20 years. Given her stature in the industry, I'm not sure why she's continued to remain on the down-low, but she's always deflected the question when asked.
Regarding Vivica: This is the same incident of which you're thinking. She was arrested back in March. Originally, she had pleaded not guilty, but now has decided to accept a deal.
Regarding Sherri: When she first started spouting the "flat Earth" nonsense on The View, I honestly thought she was kidding. Clearly, what I once attributed to a bizarre sense of humor must instead be chalked up to mental defect.
Regarding Joe Q: See the previous sentence.
