Good news, for a change
Sanjaya Malakar has been eliminated on American Idol.
Our long basketball nightmare is over:
The Golden State Warriors have landed in the NBA playoffs for the first time since 1994. That's 13 seasons, people. Thirteen endless, agonizing seasons.
That rumble you feel in the earth beneath your feet is not seismic activity. It's me doing my "Goodbye Sanjaya; hello playoffs" happy dance.
And oh, yes...
Barry Bonds: 738 career home runs, and climbing. Just 17 behind Henry Aaron.
Your T-shirt is correct, Sanjaya: Life is beautiful.

3 insisted on sticking two cents in:
Wow, 13 years.. I might have been at their last playoff game. Good luck to the lads.
How can you be so right about most everything else...and STILL be a Bonds fan.
Jeopardy? Check.
Witty pop culture references? Check.
Belief that Sanjaya winning American Idol ranked only slightly behind locusts as an impending sign of the apocolypse? Check.
So what's with the Bonds love? The guy seems devoid of all moral fiber. Used the juice (eh, I know, everyone did it, but how can you not feel for Hank Aaron when he hit 755 legitimately), lies under oath, hangs with derelicts, and has no media savvy whatsoever. Say it ain't so, Swanny.
In a completely unrelated matter...best of luck to not only your wife, but to the rest of your family as you all go through this latest ordeal.
People were mad that Sanjaya was there. I was mad, too. But then I got even angrier when I thought about how AI let him get through. Best or not, they totally fueled that fire.
